Sam Jacks is a two floor, 1000 capacity, fun-pub in the City Centre of Newcastle upon Tyne. We are located at the top the world famous 'Bigg Market' in the City Centre's £53m indoor bar and restaurant complex 'The Gate', at Newgate Street (Click for Map)

We are open seven nights a week from 4pm untll late, and open all day and night on friday and saturdays.

We have newcastle's only Raging Rodeo Bull which is free to ride everynight (except friday and saturday .... too busy!!!). We have thirty four screens showing every major sporting event including three very large projection screens, we even have screens in the toilets so you dont miss a moment of the action.

Sam Jacks is currently under-going a mini-refurbishment, during the summer months, to prepare for the new football season, and our customers returning from summer holidays.

BUT DONT WORRY! Our hard-working management team are supervising the work personally to make sure that we are open, as usual, everynight. Expect a bright, new look when you come back, if you have been away for the summer!
